Ed started his career in real estate In 1987 when he became a real estate broker and formed Parada and Company Real Estate Investments; before that Ed was a property management accountant with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Investment Trust in Downtown Los Angeles and a staff accountant with Pacific Health Resources also in Downtown Los Angeles.

In 2003 Ed became active in HOA management at the board of directors level in the community known as The Heights at Porter Ranch. Ed ascended from member to secretary to president to treasurer and ended his service in late 2010. In January 2011 he launched Porter Ranch Community Association Management and took over the management of The Heights at Porter Ranch HOA.
